Questions and answers about our smart locks

Will the Smart Lock fit my door?

Yes. The EL50 series is suitable for almost all common European door models. It is mounted on the inside over the existing cylinder – without any drilling or structural modifications.

How is the EL50 mounted?

Installation takes just a few minutes. You attach the Smart Lock to the inside of the door – no special tools are required and no visible changes are made to the exterior. It's also ideal for rental properties.

How can I open the door?

Depending on the model, different options are available:

  • EL50 : App (Bluetooth), RFID tag, keyfob, mechanical emergency key
  • EL50 Premium : Additionally with fingerprint and PIN code
  • EL50 Premium Remote : Additionally with remote access via WiFi Bridge

Do I need an internet connection?

Not for everyday use. Bluetooth, RFID, PIN, and fingerprint recognition work offline. Only for remote access with the EL50 Premium Remote do you need internet access via the Wi-Fi bridge.

How long does the battery last?

The batteries last up to twelve months, depending on usage. You can check the charging status at any time via the app. You'll receive a timely notification when the battery level is low.

Can I grant access to other people?

Yes. You can create up to 200 individual user profiles. Access can be granted permanently, temporarily, or recurringly—ideal for families, guests, or employees.

Can the Smart Lock be removed without leaving any residue?

Yes. Installation is done without drilling. The Smart Lock can be removed at any time without leaving any residue – perfect for rental properties or temporary use.

What is the difference between EL50, EL50 Premium and EL50 Premium Remote?

All three models in the EL50 series offer keyless access via app, RFID tag, or keyfob. The EL50 Premium also features an integrated keypad with a fingerprint sensor and PIN code. The EL50 Premium Remote also includes a WiFi gateway that allows you to remotely control your smart lock from anywhere. This means you'll find the right solution for every application—whether at home, in the office, or for rental properties.
